Balancing School and a Toddler I stay at home with my 15 month old son, so juggling my "job" with school can be quite difficult at times. I usually wait until he goes to bed to work on homework, but there are times where he refuses to go to sleep, which can make it more difficult for me to meet certain deadlines. This week has been a perfect example of that. I woke up ready to tackle the week Monday morning, and my little guy woke up with a nasty flu bug. Instead of doing homework I spent the week taking care of my sick boy and put everything else on hold. Nap times, which usually allow me to squeeze in some school work, consisted of washing crib sheets, scrubbing down toys, and washing medicine droppers. I try not to wait until the last minute to finish my school work, but unfortunately, I did not have much of a choice this week.
